For my personal project, I am creating a TV show package design for "A Bite of China." The show introduces Chinese traditional cuisine from various regions of China. My design will aim to capture the essence of the show's focus on Chinese culinary culture, while also creating an engaging and visually appealing package.
Food is an integral part of life in China, and it holds significant cultural significance. In daily greetings, the question "Have you eaten yet?" is a common way to show concern for one another. Chinese people take food seriously and view it as a representation of their culture. The cuisine from different regions of China reflects the local conditions and customs.
To highlight the cultural significance of food, I plan to combine Chinese traditional food with Chinese water ink painting. I will implement food elements into Chinese water ink painting to represent the rich and diverse Chinese food culture.
